New restaurant in Meridian to open in early September

A new fast food restaurant in Meridian is almost ready to open to the public.

The Jack’s restaurant in Meridian will be the third location opened in Mississippi which is located on highway 39 North.

The food chain is popular for their hamburgers, chicken and milkshakes. They also provide a breakfast menu.

“It’s always good to see a new business opening up in a great location. We feel like a new restaurant there is going to be a real plus for that area in our city,” says Community Development Director Laura Carmichael. “We received the developments of the plan a few months ago and it is a popular restaurant with several location throughout the south so to be the first one in our area, we’re really excited about that. It shows that people are willing to invest in our community.”

The grand of the restaurant is set for September 3rd.
