Newton County School District provides students with free lunch

As of today, students in the Newton County School District are now able to eat lunch for free.

The district has announced that thanks to funding, students will be able to eat lunch for free at school until further notice. The district anticipates the funds to last until November or December. Parents that were paying for their students’ lunch via automatic draft will have to pause those payments.
