Newton Woman shot and killed.

Newton, MS - We now know the name of the woman who died after a shooting in Newton County.

34-Year-Old Tiarra Pinkston was shot and killed early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened at Pinkston’s home in the 400 block of Violet Street.

Family and Friends of Pinkston say she loved to help others and she was loved by all.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case.
