Northcrest Baptist Church unveils its new children's building

In Meridian, Northcrest Baptist Church held a ribbon cutting and open house, as it unveiled its new multi-million-dollar children’s building, yesterday afternoon.

The facility cost 4.3 million dollars and sits on 30,000 sq. feet. The building holds fifteen classrooms for children, a high-tech worship room, and five classrooms that will be used by young adults for bible studies. One classroom in the new building will be used for live streaming, allowing the church to stream bible studies for those who are unable to attend during the pandemic.

“We are so excited, we have worked so hard for the past 2 years to get it to where we can let people come in and see it, and we’re so excited to witness to boys and girls and let them hear about Jesus’s love. That’s the main reason we have this building,” said Sonja Murray, Children’s Ministry Director.

Northcrest Baptist Church will begin to utilize the new children’s building on Sunday, September 20.
