Peace Rally And March To Take Place In Meridian On June 27

In Meridian, organizers with the Dream Team of The South have planned another peace rally to take place tomorrow, June 27.

The third “Breathe Through Me” peace rally will begin at 3pm on City Hall’s lawn. From there a march will begin, heading toward the Meridian Police Station. This peace rally is taking place in support of the removal of the Confederate monument that stands in front of the Lauderdale County Courthouse. Organizers of tomorrow’s peace rally are encouraging those who attend to wear masks.
