Pearl River Resort Announces Plans To Reopen In August

The Pearl River Resort, which is owned and operate by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, has announced plans for the phased reopening of its Golden Moon Hotel & Casino.

The casino is scheduled to reopen to the public on Friday, August 14 at noon, and will follow rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols. Now, guests will be asked to follow social distancing guideline while waiting to enter, and thermal cameras will conduct automatic noninvasive temperature scans at all guest and associate entrances. Anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to enter.The reopening date for the Silver Star Casino property has not yet been announced.
