Primary Eyecare of Meridian holds ribbon cutting for second location

The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation held a ribbon cut ceremony for the new location of Primary Eyecare-South on Frontage Road. This is the second location next to Primary Eyecare and Optical of Meridian on 26th Avenue in Meridian.

Physicians say they were beginning to become a little backed up with patients at the first location and hope the new location can service more people.

“Because of social distancing rules, we felt it was too busy. So my solution is this new clinic on the other side of town--the southside town,” said Owner Dr. Minh Duong. “Hopefully this will allow our patients to spread out and allow our employees to feel more comfortable so we can try social distance and still try to give primary eyecare at the same time.”

Dr. Duong says the first Primary Eyecare location was opened in 2008 during a recession and now, the second location during a pandemic.
