Meridian, MS - Work is now underway to renovate the Frank Cochran Center in Highland Park.
Right now, crews are in the demolition stage of this $3.3 million project that will turn the center into a multi-purpose building.
This project is expected to be a complete remodeling of both the inside and outside.
The original building has been closed since a fire in 2019.
The renovation plan also calls for putting the Park and Recreation offices inside of the building.
This center is set to be completed by the spring of 2024.
