Meridian MS - It’s Senior Signing Day at Northeast Lauderdale high school. A day for the students of class of 2023 to "sign" their names on their path after graduation.

Whether college, a branch of the military, or the workforce.

Southern Miss signee Mitchell Butler and US Navy enlister Jamarion Brown talk about their excitement for the future.

Michelle Diep is excited, signed, and on her way to Harvard. “It feels really unreal and I’m very excited for it and the new experiences that come with it.”

Majoring in biomedical engineering, she shares her future goals. “Hopefully get my master’s and commission as an officer into the Air Force and utilize my degree inside the Air Force.”

The school says it’s proud of all its students and wishes nothing but great things for the class of 2023.
