Silver Star Hotel And Casino Scheduled to Reopen On August 28

In Neshoba County, the Pearl River Resort announced that it is entering its final phase of reopening, with plans to reopen the Silver Star Hotel and Casino on Friday.

Two weeks after reopening the Golden Moon Hotel And Casino, the Pearl River Resort will be reopening the Silver Star Hotel And Casino on Friday, August 28 at noon. All guest and employees will be required to wear facial coverings, that cover the mouth and nose in order to access the property.

Guests entering the building will also have their temperature taken and will be required to social distance once inside. Since the reopening of its other casino’s, the Pearl River Resort is glad to be entering its final phase of reopening, after months of being closed due to the pandemic.

“We did see a great response from our guests when we reopened Golden Moon, and with that, came the fact that we needed to reopen Silver Star to allow for that even greater social distancing for our guests and employers and so, this is actually what we’ve been looking forward to –having all three of our casino properties reopened,” said Erica Moore.

She also shared that they are anticipating an uptick in visitors at the casino, once it reopens.

“During the pandemic people are looking for a way to escape some of the stresses of that, that come along with it, and we’re just happy to he here to provide an outstanding gaming experience, and be able to do so in a safe way. We do look forward to having more of our guests return, we have a lot of our guests who are loyal to the Silver Star, we’ve been in business for 26 years, so that’s a testament that they’ve enjoyed that property over time, and so we do anticipate there will be a lot of guests coming back”, said Moore.

The Silver Star Hotel and Casino will maintain its 24/7 hours of operation following its reopening on Friday.
