Southeast Elementary Students Are To Continue School Via Distance Learning

The Lauderdale County School District announced that students attending Southeast Elementary will now be continuing their education via distance learning.

Southeast Elementary had been following the “Return to Learn Plan”, with in-person learning on designated days of the week and distance learning for all students on Wednesday’s. The switch to distance learning is due to a sudden spike in the number of school employees testing positive with COVID-19 and the symptoms mimicking the virus.

As of now the district anticipates students to return to campus on September 8.
