Student at West Lauderdale Middle School Wins Flood Awareness Slogan Contest

Today, a student at West Lauderdale Middle School was recognized as the winner of the 2020 Flood Awareness Slogan Contest, that was held by the Lauderdale County Emergency Management Agency's Program for Public Information.

7th grader Addison Cornish submitted the slogan "Noah Listened...Will You?", promoting the importance of flood insurance. She was awarded a t-shirt with the slogan and a gift card to Walmart. This is the second year in a row for a student at West Lauderdale Middle School won the contest.
