Meridian, MS- 33-year-old singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has been named Time Magazine's “Person of the Year!”
And while the singer does have many fans, others, like Mia Crowson are not really into the singer. “Good for her but she’s really not my cup of tea. I’m glad she’s doing big things for herself.”
Crowson emphasized she has not listened to Taylor Swift, since the singer switched up the music she makes. “It’s just very pop and I’m not a very pop person, but she did have the one song: “Love Story,” back in the day, that was a good song.”
Although she is not a “swiftie”, Mia does not discredit the singer's hard work to break records, much like her current record-breaking “Eras Tour.” “Her concerts look fun, her music; I’m just not listening to on a daily basis.”
Regardless of how she feels about the singer’s music, Crowson did express her thoughts about the singer being named “Person of the Year.” “They should definitely be looking for somebody who’s working to forward our country to betterment.”
Although she has been recognized as “Person of the Year” people in the community say Taylor Swift's Music may not be for everyone.
