The Choctaw Co. Sheriff's Office restarts its garbage pick-up program

The Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office has announced that its inmate garbage pick-up program is back underway.

The program restarted this week, for the first time since the closing of the jail in July 2019, and since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Now beginning the process again, Choctaw County inmates will be picking up litter and garbage, cleaning the county area three days a week.
