Meridian, MS - The Free Clinic of Meridian on Poplar Springs Drive expanding.
The clinic is adding several exam rooms to its facility.
This expansion opportunity comes from a one-time federal funding.
The clinic says this expansion is possible because of the help of its donors and federal representation.
“We serve over 1200 patients and it's going to give us more room to be able to seat the patients and see more patients at a time, get them in, and just help the uninsured that are in our community.” says Executive Director Stephanie Woodall
Construction is currently in the process and expected to be completed by the end of the year, or early next year.
