The Preserve's Grand Opening

Yesterday evening The Preserve held its grand opening after 3 years of construction. The Preserve raises the bar for Senior Care Facilities by offering its residents a Resort-Style way of living.

"Today we had our grand opening to celebrate the completion of the preserve at meridian, which is a brand new retirement assisted living and memory care community here in Meridian, Mississippi. And we've got 100 apartments for just a beautiful lifestyle where people can come and enjoy life fully with purpose," stated Greg Rodderick the CEO of Frontier Management.

The preserve offers three levels of care to meet a variety of needs assisted living, independent living with individual cottages, and a memory care wing for Alzheimer’s or Dementia patients.

"They can still do and enjoy life as much as they ever have. They can live life as independently or receive quite a bit of care and need. I think that when you see the building yourself, you'll see an elevated, highly dignified community with really nice apartments and some of the southern charm that's here," stated Rodderick.

The Preserves resort-style living offers large common areas, restaurant-style dining, game rooms, movie room, and even houses a chef, local residents who attended the grand opening were excited to get a full tour of the facilities.

"It's really nice. It's a really nice place," said Joann Mercer.

"I think it is fabulous. I have been waiting and waiting for this place to open on that for a while now. I've been taking, like, a little tour around the parking lot, you know, as the gravel trucks and everything you were coming through. I think meridian is just so blessed to have a place like this," said Dana Hollern.

Roderick says the main goal for the facility is to offer residents the same freedoms and opportunities they had in their own homes by providing them with assistance and help they may need.
