The Salvation Army in Meridian kicks off its Red Kettle Campaign

In Meridian, the Salvation Army is officially ringing bells this holiday season, now that it has officially kicked off its Red Kettle Campaign.

The kickoff took place this past weekend in front of Uptown Meridian Mall. There, the Salvation Army rang bells and played holiday music to celebrate the first day of its Red Kettle Campaign. The campaign began early this year due to challenges presented by the pandemic. Due to these circumstances, the number of traditional kettles at stores has significantly decreased. The annual Red Kettle Campaign will mainly be conducted digitally this year.
