Traffic Delay on Highway 39/North Hills Street.

Meridian, MS - Residents and commuters in Meridian may have noticed a delayed traffic light on Highway 39 and North Hills Street.

The delayed traffic light is due to the Highway 39 North construction project by the Mississippi Department of Transportation. City of Meridian Traffic Control & Maintenance Supervisor Rob Thomas said the delayed signal will continue until the project is complete.

Residents are advised to be aware of the delay during peak travel hours.
