Halloween trick or treating may look different to some this year due to covid precautions.

Due to the Pandemic, innovative ways have been created to ensure the safety of children while trick or treating this year. Jeffory Wilson State Farm will be hosting their 2nd annual Treat Street Drive Thru Trick or Treating event. Jeff Knight, a State Farm Agent tells us just what drive-thru trick or treating is all about.
“It’s just a safe place for kids to come or anybody in the community to come and get some candy and do some trick or treating and we will be happy to help out anybody who comes by.”
Drive-thru trick or treating has become a new way to stay safe while kids still get to enjoy the thrill of dressing up as their favorite character and getting candy.
“We will have some tents set up, us and elite flooring and youth villages and we are going to set up some tents and we will have the candy in a bucket, and we will distribute it as people come in.”
Many different Halloween events are taking place around The Queen City, one of the State Farm Agents tells us what made them want to be a part of the festivities.
“Giving back to the community being involved with the community and do as much as we can for it so it’s just a safe way to do trick or treating and bring smiles to the kids.”
The event takes place tomorrow from 4:30-6:30 pm at Jeffery Wilson state farm. All the candy is already pre-packaged and ready to be given out.
