Meridian MS - Today is 4\20 …. A day when some people celebrate the use of marijuana, and a change in the law for medical marijuana, calls for patients to get their applications for legal use approved more quickly.
This is good news for Wayne Williams, co-owner of Legally Rooted Cannabis Dispensary. “It’s going to help dramatically, it’s going to help this huge backlog of patients to come and get their medicine quicker, which is so important.”
He also explains how to get a medical marijuana card. “Getting a medical marijuana card is a fairly simple process, you have to talk to a licensed practitioner, go to the department of health website, fill out an application and go from there.”
Wayne would like to see other conditions added to the list for medical marijuana approval. "I would like to see anxiety, depression, also potentially PMS, and most importantly insomnia added to the list for medical marijuana usage."
With today being 4/20, companies like Legally Rooted Cannabis Dispensary say that they are doing everything they can to get people who require medical marijuana the assistance they need.
