Veterans Day ceremony and parade to take place in Meridian on November 11

In Meridian, the Veterans Day ceremony and parade are schedule to take place on Wednesday, November 11.

The planning committee decided to move forward with its plans with the Veterans Day events despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.On November 11, the Veterans Day program will take place at 10:30am at the Doughboy monument in front of city hall lawn in downtown Meridian.

Later that day the Veterans Day parade will begin at 3pm, and line-up will start at 2 pm on 25th Avenue at 9th Street. Those who are interested in participating in the Veterans Day parade must apply.
