West Alabama Works to hold a community outreach event in Sumter County

Hoping to help those whose jobs have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the workforce

development organization, West Alabama Works, will be hosting a community outreach event, bringing its career development services to Sumter County on Thursday, October 8.

The West Alabama Works’ mobile workforce unit will be located at the Livingston Market Place on N Washington Street in the town of Livingston. The outreach team will help attendees enter the West Alabama Works’ job application portal, helping them find in-demand careers in West Alabama. The event will take place outside, and facial coverings will be required.
